in Trekking, Exploration, Mountaineering and Tour Leading in our
Peruvian Andes especially in Cusco Region.

RENE
Manages operations in Cusco office in the heart of the Andes, Peru’s
greatest treasures, He was born in an small Andean town
Chinchero-Urubamba PERU. He studied Tourism faculty at the San Antonio
Abad National University in Cusco and He was graduated, as a High
Mountain Guide in Peruvian-Switzerland Mountaineering School, now is
member of UGM. His passion for nature and ancient cultures seemed to
predestine him for life as an adventure and cultural guide and Trip
Leader for several and the best adventure and cultural tour companies in
Perú.

TRISHA
MELYNKOV, a former
award winning theatre and soap opera actor, and founder of Thin
Air Outfitters, has been a dedicated mountaineer herself since
1998.A partial list of her experience in the mountains include
ascents of Aconcagua, Argentina; Island Peak, Nepal; several
ascents of Mt. Ranier, WA.; Mt. Shasta, CA.; mountaineer’s
route of Mt. Whitney, CA. She is planning her third expedition
to Nepal/Tibet, to attempt Cho Oyu, her first 8,000 meter
mountain in 2007. Mt Everest is the ultimate goal for 2008.
Her
first trip to Peru was in 1996, and though a world traveler,
found Peru to be an experience that touched her sense of raw
adventure, mystery and unparalleled beauty, unlike anywhere else
she had traveled. The passion to bring people that same depth of
adventure and cultural immersion, led her to creating the most
unique guiding service now known as the highly respected Thin
Air Outfitters. Our main office is located in Minden, Nevada,
nestled next to the majestic Sierras and home of arguably the
most beautiful lake in the world, Lake Tahoe. Our Cusco office
is managed by Rene Huaman, Trish’s dedicated partner of ten
years and one of Peru’s most successful and prestigious guides. |
